L. S. Caldwell & Associates, Inc. was contracted by Family Works Together (FWT) to provide Project Marketing services as needed, to assist Adoptions Together in developing and implementing a Community Outreach plan, and developing and implementing Marketing Strategies to boost the reputability of the Post Permanency Family Center (PPFC) in the District of Columbia.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Designed a strategic Plan for expanding the PPFC Client base to include material development, outreach and marketing opportunities.
- Provided database management and other marketing technical and administrative support as needed.
- Attended PPFC Project Team meetings monthly or as required.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH/ADVOCACY
- Developed, implemented, managed, and improved a comprehensive community outreach plan designed to inform all segments of the community of the services available through the PPFC.
- Attended community events, such as health fairs, neighborhood fairs, expos, etc., to promote awareness of the PPFC.
- Promoted the availability of services from PPFC through arranged appearances and interviews with local media and news outlets, including radio, television and electronic media.
MARKETING STRATEGIES
- Researched and identified professionals in the foster care and adoption arena that might share the need for FWT supportive services.
- Engaged prospective clients and organizations that might refer clients to the PPFC for services.
- Ensured that information about how to obtain services through the PPFC is readily accessible.
- Identified other strategies being used by other agencies aligned with the overall mission of Adoptions Together to conflate overall mission to conflate PPFC services into their Programs.
- Created and produced various materials, i.e. newsletters, flyers, articles, etc. that illustrate the work of FWT.
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Identified social media outlets and provided information for Adoptions Together’s page content.
- Updated social media sites and include posting event information for all Adoption Together functions.
- Engaged users to create a following to further social media marketing.
