The Baltimore MBDA Business Center is part of a national network of 45 Minority Business Development Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce through its Minority Business Development Agency.

The Center located in Baltimore, Maryland and operated by L. S. Caldwell & Associates, Inc. (LSC).  The Baltimore MBDA Business Center (MBDA) assists high-growth minority businesses in achieving access to markets and capital through a nationwide network of MBDA locations and strategic alliance (LSC CONNECT) partners.

LSC was tasked with fostering growth and global competitiveness of U.S. minority-owned businesses.

In addition, MBDA provides management support and oversight for:

  • Business and Technical Assistance from qualified Baltimore MBDA Business Center staff and strategic alliance (LSC CONNECT) partners.
  • Access to opportunities through a network of resources tailored to your business needs and featuring a special bi-weekly Procurement CONNECT Series.
  • Access to training on topics relevant to today’s businesses, networking events, and featuring a monthly Webinar Series, procurement.
  • Providing a comprehensive assessment of Social Media platform development and training to enhance business marketing and online presence. Among the services include – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Creation and management of New Business development via marketing, registration, training and direct client networking events.
