UnitedHealthcare Insurance Company (UHC) continues to handle an unspecified but large number of District-wide claims on an ongoing basis. UHC is under contract with the District of Columbia Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) and the Department of Human Resources (DCHR) to manage all phases of the healthcare benefits process for District employees.
