Adjacent to the former Walter Reed Army Hospital Campus sits the Takoma Place Apartments a 104 unit garden style complex constructed in 1953. The complex will be redeveloped to suit the aesthetic and of its evolving neighborhood.

L.S. Caldwell & Associates, Inc. (LSC) is charged with Compliance Consulting for the project.  LSC will serve as a resource for WCS Construction the general contractor selected by developer The NHP Foundation.

Specific strategies established to ensure regulatory compliance awareness include:

  • Provide consultation prior to execution of the following regulatory agreements:
    • The First Source Employment Agreement (FSEA)
  • LSC will serve as a resource to the general contractor concerning subcontractor participation and reporting in DOES’ LCP Tracker system
  • LSC will serve as a resource to the general contractor concerning the monitoring of LCP Tracker; working with contractors on correcting and resubmitting Certified Payroll Reports
  • LSC will serve as a resource to the general contractor so that  contractors may follow  Apprenticeship Program submission requirements accordingly
  • Attend contractor meetings as needed to ensure issues are resolved in accord with regulatory requirements
