| This 2-day course is intended to provide entry level construction workers with a knowledge of basic Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety and health hazards on construction sites and how the OSHA works. OSHA training is necessary for a safe and healthy work environment.
Course topics include: · Introduction to OSHA · Focus Four (leading causes of death in construction) · Falls · Electrocution · Struck-by (e.g., falling objects, trucks, cranes) · Caught-in or between (e.g., trench hazards, equipment) · Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment · Health Hazards in Construction Target Audience: DBE owners and employees (Attendees must be able to speak and understand the English language.) Upon successful completion, students will be issued an OSHA Card of Completion. BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE ATTENDEE |
