January 21 & 22, 2026

8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

This 2-day course is intended to provide entry level construction workers with a knowledge of basic Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety and health hazards on construction sites and how the OSHA works. OSHA training is necessary for a safe and healthy work environment.

Course topics include:

·        Introduction to OSHA

·        Focus Four (leading causes of death in construction)

·        Falls

·        Electrocution

·        Struck-by (e.g., falling objects, trucks, cranes)

·        Caught-in or between (e.g., trench hazards, equipment)

·        Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment

·        Health Hazards in Construction

Target Audience: DBE owners and employees (Attendees must be able to speak and understand the English language.) 

Upon successful completion, students will be issued an OSHA Card of Completion.
